Larry J. Fujara
Larry Fujara is the Executive Director of the Firm acting as both the COO and CFO. He oversees preparation of the Firm’s financial reporting and budget, financial analysis as well as billing and collections and banking relationship.
Likewise, he is responsible for the overall Firm operation, supervision and direction of administrative personnel, leasing, space planning and design. Over the past 30 years, he has supervised and managed almost 200,000 sf of commercial office construction and design at multiple sites.
Larry is a member of the Firm’s marketing strategies team including public relations efforts, advertising and client relations programs.
He has been an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators (“ALA”) and the Chicago Chapter of the ALA since 1987. He has twice served terms as both the Chicago Chapter President and the ALA’s Intellectual Property Affinity Group Chair. He has held local chapter positions as Region Representative; Chair of the Survey, Program, Continuing Education and Marketing Committees; and has been a Board Functional Specialist Advisor for both Financial Management and Facilities Management. For the International ALA organization, he has served as an Advisor for the Compensations and Benefits Survey on two occasions.
With over 45 years of experience involved with Salary Surveys on both the national and local level of the Association of Legal Administrators, Larry has developed a niche as a compensation specialist for professional service firms, particularly, law firms.
In 2019, the Chicago Chapter of the ALA presented Larry with its first ever Lifetime Achievement Award “in recognition of his commitment to professionalism, and dedication to the advancement of the legal management profession and a record of long-term service.”
Larry has spoken on Legal Management and Administration topics including organizational behavior, budgeting, marketing, strategic planning, disaster planning, lease negotiation and office relocation to ALA members, The National Association of Legal Secretaries, Loyola University Law School and the International Facilities Management Association. Larry has contributed to or authored articles in Legal Management, Chicago Lawyer, Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, Administrator’s Advantage, the Templeton Reporter and the former Illinois Legal Times. He also contributed to ALA’s publication The Strategic Planning Handbook.
Prior to moving to legal administration, he was an Assistant Director of Administration for Technomic Consultants primarily responsible for the firm’s financial reporting as well as international and domestic operations.
He has served on a Chicago suburb’s Zoning Board of Appeals; was twice elected to serve 3-year terms on a private school board; and has held leadership positions in youth social and youth sports groups.
