Novaira T. Paul

Novaira Paul is an associate at Pattishall McAuliffe where she practices trademark counseling, prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. Novaira manages international trademark portfolios for startups and growing companies. She counsels clients on selection, registration, and enforcement of trademarks. She has litigation experience involving trademark and trade dress infringement, patent infringement, unfair competition, and false advertising in federal courts and in front of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Novaira has also successfully represented Fortune 500 retail, healthcare, and tech companies in federal litigation involving their trademarks and patents.

Novaira received her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she served as the Deputy Managing Editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and the Secretary for the Student Bar Association. During law school, Novaira interned at a leading consulting firm in their legal department.

Novaira graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University, where she received her Bachelor’s in International Business with an emphasis in marketing and a minor in advertising. She also graduated from the University of San Diego’s Paralegal Program with the highest honors. Prior to law school, Novaira started her own photography business and worked as a litigation paralegal. Novaira is fluent in four languages and proficient in two. In her free time, Novaira travels and co-hosts a podcast on social issues in the South Asian Diaspora.
