Novaira T. Paul
Novaira handles all aspects of trademark prosecution, litigation, and counseling. She also has experience with patent litigation and copyright protection. Novaira has represented Fortune 500 companies in protecting their intellectual property in federal courts and in front of the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Novaira received her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she served as the Deputy Managing Editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and the Secretary for the Student Bar Association. During law school, Novaira interned at a leading consulting firm in their legal department.
Novaira currently serves on the Executive Board of the South Asian Bar Association Chicago and is a member of Chicago Women in IP (ChiWIP).
Novaira graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University, where she received her Bachelor’s in International Business with an emphasis in marketing and a minor in advertising. She also graduated from the University of San Diego’s Paralegal Program with the highest honors. Prior to law school, Novaira started her own photography business and worked as a litigation paralegal. Novaira is fluent in four languages and proficient in two. In her free time, Novaira travels and co-hosts a podcast on social issues in the South Asian Diaspora.
